Meet Lee Rogers: The Guy Who Makes Listings  Shine

By Nick Hoisington, Founder of Realkit

When I first met Lee Rogers, I wasn’t thinking about creative chemistry or long-term team dynamics. I was trying to get through a training shoot on a tight schedule. But then Lee showed up, camera in hand, smiling on his face, conversing with the client like they’d known each other for years. And I remember thinking, oh... this guy’s got it.

Since then, Lee has become one of those rare photographers who doesn’t just show up for the job — he shows up for the people. And if you’ve enjoyed working with him, you already know what I mean.

Lee brings something special to every shoot—not just great photos (though those are a given) but a presence that instantly puts everyone at ease. He’s got that gift of making things feel fun, relaxed, and low-pressure—even when the homeowner is pacing and the dog keeps photo-bombing the kitchen shots. Whether he’s photographing a charming cottage in Roswell or a luxury listing in Cumming, Lee has a way of capturing homes that feels both polished and personal.

And the best part? He doesn’t take himself too seriously. Lee’s the youngest of eight siblings, so maybe that’s where the humor and humility come from. Or perhaps it’s just who he is, a guy who’s quick to laugh, easy to talk to, and wildly talented behind the lens.

But don’t let his laid-back style fool you. Behind that warm energy is someone who’s deeply intentional about the work. He sees real estate photography not as a transaction, but as a chance to tell a story — one that helps buyers feel something and helps agents build their brand in a competitive market.

I sat down with Lee recently to learn more about what drives him, what he loves about the job, and what he’d be doing if he weren’t chasing the perfect golden hour shot.

Realkit Photographer Q&A — Lee Rogers

Q: Can you tell us about yourself and where you’re from?
A: I’m 27 years old and the youngest of eight siblings, which means I grew up learning how to speak up, listen well, and get creative to stand out. I was raised in Cumming, Georgia, and now live in Roswell. I’ve always been drawn to people. I love good conversations and tend to go off on tangents when I’m storytelling. Not because I’m trying to be funny, but because I genuinely enjoy connecting with people. That curiosity and energy help me build quick rapport with clients and make every shoot like a collaboration instead of just another appointment.

Q: How did you first get interested in videography and photography?
A: It really started in high school. My friends were getting into music and fashion, and I wanted to support what they were doing meaningfully. So I borrowed my parents’ old camera and jumped in headfirst. I had no real training, and the photos were imperfect, but I loved the process. That creative spark of seeing, framing, and capturing a vision completely pulled me in. From that point forward, I knew visual storytelling was something I wanted to keep pursuing, no matter where it led.

Q: What’s your favorite hobby outside of work?
A: Golf. Easily. I probably spend more than I should on courses and driving ranges, especially considering I’m still working on consistency. But I love everything about it, the focus it takes, the little wins, the frustration, the quiet. Golf has this funny way of humbling you and recharging you simultaneously. It’s my favorite way to unplug and reset between shoots.

Q: What sets Realkit apart from other real estate media companies?
A: Many companies treat real estate media like an assembly line and just shoot, deliver, repeat. Realkit is different. It’s not just about the quality of the photos and videos (though that matters a ton), it’s about how we operate as a team. Even though we’re spread across cities, there’s a sense of community and shared mission. Everyone supports each other, which shows how we show up for clients. The culture here is authentic, encouraging, and focused on delivering the best experience possible. I’m proud to be part of it.

Q: What has been the most rewarding project you’ve worked on with Realkit, and why?
A: That would have to be my first shoot with Nick. It was a training session; I expected it to be just that, a basic workflow walkthrough. But it was one of the most affirming moments in my professional journey. From the first few minutes on set, I could feel that Realkit was something different. I wasn’t just being shown how to take pictures. I was welcomed into a team that values intention, creativity, and care. That day set the bar for what I wanted all my future work to feel like.

Q: What would you do instead if you weren’t a photographer?
A: I think I’d be in sales. Something like home improvement or even real estate. I love the challenge of connecting with people and helping them find the right solution. But honestly, even if I weren’t officially a photographer, I think I’d still find my way back to this work. Something about the balance of creativity and human connection makes this job feel natural to me. Whether using a camera or finding another medium, I’d still want to tell stories in a way that makes people feel something.

Closing Thoughts

Lee is the kind of person who makes everything feel just a little easier. Whether navigating a tight shot list, calming a nervous client, or cracking a perfectly timed joke, he brings skill and soul to every job. He’s one of the reasons our clients love working with Realkit — and one of the reasons our team works so well together.

If you can book Lee for your next shoot, don’t hesitate. You’ll walk away with beautiful, high-quality content and a sense that the whole day went smoother, brighter, and more enjoyable than expected.
